Okay. So my question of the day is, why is the expression "make love" used when referring to sex? And why do "boys" use it when they just wanna get someone into bed? Do they think we really wanna hear it and it increases their chances?

Girls, what do you think? Would you rather they not sugarcoat things and tell it like it is? Or, do you want the whole romantic vision of it?

Personally, I think that I would rather tell it like it is. Samantha from Sex and the City has it right in calling a f*#k a f*#k.

To all of those boys out there who just wanna get laid, my advice is this. If you are looking for sex, just tell us. It saves a messy emotional situation at a later time.

Even if it is sex with a long-term partner, there is no need to use the term. One can love for many different reasons and in a caring relationship it is just another level of the love that they have for each other.

And, in case you are wondering why the rant about F#*@ing, I have read about, and even overheard these pathetic guys who think it will give them brownie points with women and it inspired me to wonder about the subject... (by the way, is it against blog rules to use the f-word? I wasn't sure so I played it safe)

My message for the day is to skip the sugarcoating and just tell it like it is. That means men and women alike...
